About The Role
6 MONTHS FTC.
This role is part of the Support Office in Leicester, working across Finance, Marketing, Buying, Central Operations, HR, Property, Customer Service and IT to support the company’s financial processes and drive results.
- Customer / Strategy / Plan
- Work with the Accounts Transaction Processing Manager and the finance team to ensure key financial processes are administered and information is provided in a timely fashion.
- Ensure supplier invoices are processed efficiently and settled to agreed timescales and terms.
- Ensure completion of supplier in accordance with the month‑end accounting timetable.
- Financial / Commercial
- Liaise with other departments to ensure company purchase ledgers are processed and closed within the agreed timetable.
- Process payments for the purchase ledger within the agreed terms.
- Risk and Process
- Follow the company’s documented financial controls processes, highlight deviations, and investigate and remediate them with the Accounts Transaction Processing Manager.

- Rest of the Finance Team
- External providers – Suppliers, Customers
- Other central functions, Stores & field‑based colleagues
Essential Requirements
- Good working knowledge of accounting systems – General Ledger, Purchase Ledger.
- Excellent communication skills.
Desirable Requirements
- Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Dynamics.
- Experience with Cortina.
- Multi‑currency invoice matching.
- Intermediate level or above proficiency in MS Excel, Word and Outlook.
