PURPOSE

We are recruiting for an experienced, dynamic and talented Digital Channel Manager who can take strategic responsibility for the online presence of Topps Tiles across our digital channels.

This will include ensuring maximum optimisation across all online marketing channels.

Cross‑functional working with other areas within the Marketing team and other departments across the business is key.

  • KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Summary
  • Line Management responsibility of Social Media Executive and Digital Content Manager
  • Overseeing strategy and day‑to‑day management of digital channels, including PPC, SEO, GEO, Social Media, Programmatic display & Partnerships
  • Budget management across all channels
  • Confidently present performance results to senior stakeholders in board meetings
  • Ensuring all campaigns across all channels are consistent
  • Digital Performance
  • Responsible for delivering the annual Digital trading targets, maximising every opportunity to grow essential KPIs with a main focus on driving traffic and increasing visibility to our Retail and Trade websites & App.
  • To maximise traffic‑driving opportunities to grow overall company performance
  • Weekly and monthly analysis of performance, ensuring Digital channels are consistently performing at their optimal peak
  • Search/Paid Marketing
  • To manage our Search Marketing agency to drive incremental traffic and sales across SEO, GEO, PPC and Shopping campaigns
  • To improve organic performance by managing the delivery of technical SEO recommendations, collaborating with our Digital Content Manager and Digital performance team to support off‑site content building, and leading the delivery of on‑site content generation across our inspirational and transactional pages
  • Manage the online budget to ensure all paid media activity across PPC, Shopping, and Display delivers the maximum ROI
  • Increase visitor share on our channels against our competitors

  • Social Media
  • Devise, develop and implement a clear strategy across all social media platforms
  • Work with the Social Media Executive to develop and manage a social calendar with the objective of growing our audience and increasing engagement
  • Manage paid social media activity including audience research and targeting, campaign creation, optimisation and reporting
  • Define, monitor and drive important social media KPIs
  • Manage the Social Media Executive to create engaging digital content, including imagery and video for use across social platforms and the website
  • Work alongside the customer team to support all activity across multi‑channel campaigns
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the business (ie Buying, HR) to support the overall business strategy and key objectives using social media
  • Devise and manage campaigns to generate and share user‑generated content for maximum impact
  • Partnerships
  • Collaborate with the Brand Communications Manager to maximise partnership opportunities (ie with Rightmove, Ideal Home & Blue Light)
  • Agency Management
  • Effectively manage key digital strategic partners, ensuring they perform as an extension of your own team.

This includes keeping them informed of strategic business decisions and ensuring their focus is seamlessly aligned to the wider business goals

  • Monthly meetings to align all channels and take learnings from each area
  • Weekly and monthly calls to review performance and discuss new opportunities
  • Analytics & Insights
  • Utilise Google Analytics to identify opportunities to improve traffic
  • Use first and third‑party data to monitor performance and effectively drive decisions, activity and behaviours across the rest of the business
  • Budget Management
  • Manage the Digital budget to ensure all campaigns and paid‑for advertising come in on budget with a maximum ROI
  • Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required: Essential
  • Worked in a similar role for 2+ years
  • In‑depth experience of managing and running all main marketing channels including PPC, SEO and Social Media
  • Experience in mobile marketing
  • Experience of Google Analytics and interpreting data
  • Experience of budget management for a maximum return
  • Strong end‑to‑end campaign management skills; from brief to launch
  • Strong commercial, numerical, analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Microsoft Excel skills to intermediate level
  • Experience of effectively managing agencies
  • Self‑motivated with a strong work ethic and strong multi‑tasking skills
  • Team player
