Role Description: The ToppBase Compliance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing production, materials and HSE compliance for ToppBase activities, ensuring all works are delivered right first time and in line with specification, project requirements and internal management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee compliance across ToppBase production and supply activities in support of the Sizewell C Project.
- Ensure materials and production processes meet specification, project requirements and company procedures.
- Monitor quality, conformity, and traceability of materials, including testing, records, and supporting evidence.
- Support compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across all relevant activities.
- Maintain accurate compliance documentation for audits, inspections, and client review.
- Identify non-conformances, support corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with the client, project teams and key stakeholders, ensuring compliance matters are communicated clearly and managed proactively.
- Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and delivery partners to ensure compliance requirements are met.
- Promote a right first-time culture across production, materials and HSE compliance.
- Lead and motivate on-site teams, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and contractors.
- Report observations and near hits and assist in incident investigations, and conduct root cause analyses to ensure corrective actions are implemented and completed.
- Complete site-specific risk assessments to ensure that appropriate control measures are in place for safe work execution.
Ideal Candidate: The successful candidate will have experience in a similar position within the infrastructure, highways, or contracting sectors. You will have:
- Construction Management Qualification
- SMSTS (minimum SSSTS)
- A valid CSCS card
- Experience in asphalts and road laying
- Be a good communicator
