Role Description: We are looking for an experienced Mobile Fitter responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of our range of Tac Coat spraying equipment at customer sites. This is a hands‑on role requiring strong technical skills, excellent customer service abilities, and the ability to work independently.
Role Responsibilities:
- Traveling to sites to perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on Tac Coat sprayers.
- Maintain tac coat sprayers to a planned service schedule.
- Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults effectively and efficiently.
- Carrying out necessary repairs and replacements, ensuring equipment is operating to optimal performance and safety standards.
- Completing accurate service reports and documentation.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
- Maintaining and managing your company vehicle, tools, and equipment.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience as a Mobile Service Engineer or Field Service Technician, ideally with experience in spraying equipment, industrial machinery, or related fields.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic diagnostic and repair skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- A proactive and self‑motivated approach with excellent problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively.
- Full, clean UK driving licence is essential.
- Relevant technical qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC/HND in Engineering or a related discipline) are highly desirable.
