Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Mobile Fitter responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of our range of Tac Coat spraying equipment at customer sites. This is a hands‑on role requiring strong technical skills, excellent customer service abilities, and the ability to work independently., Proven experience as a Mobile Service Engineer or Field Service Technician, ideally with experience in spraying equipment, industrial machinery, or related fields.
Responsibilities
- Traveling to sites to perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on Tac Coat sprayers.
- Maintain tac coat sprayers to a planned service schedule.
- Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults effectively and efficiently.
- Carrying out necessary repairs and replacements, ensuring equipment is operating to optimal performance and safety standards.
- Completing accurate service reports and documentation.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
- Maintaining and managing your company vehicle, tools, and equipment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Mobile Service Engineer or Field Service Technician, ideally with experience in spraying equipment, industrial machinery, or related fields.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic diagnostic and repair skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- A proactive and self‑motivated approach with excellent problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively.
- Full, clean UK driving license is essential.
- Relevant technical qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC/HND in Engineering or a related discipline) are highly desirable.
