Your new role: As a Marketing Apprentice, you will support the Marketing and Business Development team with internal communications, social media activity, content creation, and employee engagement initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a global business whilst developing practical skills across marketing, communications, and digital engagement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to help create engaging content, support internal campaigns, and contribute to the continuous development of Trident’s marketing and communication activities. You will also complete the Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer Apprenticeship whilst fulfilling the Marketing Apprentice role. The apprenticeship will support versatile skills and enhancing organisational efficiency by supporting various functions. This role is a full-time apprenticeship opportunity (35 hours per week), with a hybrid work model of three days in the office and two working from home. This position is based in Hull, UK.
What are the responsibilities of a Marketing Apprentice?
- Internal Communications: Support creation and distribution of internal communications, company updates, newsletters, and employee engagement content.
- Social Media Support: Assist with planning, scheduling, and monitoring social media activity across relevant platforms.
- Content Creation: Help create engaging written and visual content for internal and external audiences, including presentations, posts, case studies, and marketing materials.
- Marketing Support: Assist the Marketing and Business Development team with campaigns, events, and promotional activities.
- Employee Engagement: Support initiatives that promote company culture, employee achievements, and business updates across the organisation.
- Digital Platforms: Support management and continuous improvement of digital communication channels and marketing resources.
- Market Research: Conduct research into industry trends, competitor activity, and relevant marketing topics.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teams across the business to gather content and support communication initiatives.
- Administration & Organisation: Support coordination of marketing activities, content calendars, and communication schedules.
Who are we looking for?
- A creative and enthusiastic individual with an interest in marketing, communications, social media, or digital engagement.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confident using Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.
- Interest in social media platforms and digital communication tools.
- Willingness to learn new systems, tools, and ways of working.
- A proactive and positive approach with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Basic design or content creation skills would be beneficial but are not essential.
