Location: Based at Diageo Menstrie 2/3 days a week – Working from home 2/3 days a week.
Hours: 35 hrs per week – Flexible, so long as core hours met. Core hours are Monday to Thursday 9am to 4pm, Friday 9am to 2pm. Choice of 30 mins or 1 hour lunch.
Salary: £30k - £38k annual salary. Paid on 18th of each month.
Holiday Entitlement: 34 days, which includes Bank holidays. Of which 5-7 days are mandatory over Christmas and new year period.
The main role of a Project Manager in the Global Packaging team is to execute projects, on time, in full, within budget and to the quality standards expected.
Responsibilities and Skills
- Communication: Effective communication is required on all varieties of media, e.g. Email, Zoom, etc. Ability to present information in a clear and concise manner. Stakeholder management and coordination of all different roles using the provided RASCI to ensure that everyone works towards achieving the agreed business goal. Communicates negative information in a positive light when possible. Regular updates to all regarding project progress, concerns, risk and any mitigation required.
- Teamwork: Working effectively as part of a PM team to assist and support each other to help grow knowledge and experience. Helping to contribute to a positive working environment for all. Not being afraid to ask for help from others or signal when there is an issue, so that others can assist in a timely manner. Creating a productive and effective relationship between project teams. Promotes an open and honest sharing culture.
- Organisational skills: Follow correct process and ensure all critical controls are met along the way. Good level of general housekeeping, able to juggle tasks and projects. Keeping notes of budget required and spend against this. Reliability, consistently punctual. Strives to meet and/or exceed deadlines. Under promises and over delivers where possible. You do what you say you are going to do.
- Development and personal responsibility: Continuous improvement, both in processes and self. Open to constructive feedback. Able to identify own weaknesses and look to improve. Takes responsibility for own personal development.
- Attitude and Drive: Can do attitude. Ability to adapt to change. Looks for solutions to problems and how to move around obstacles.
- Systems Knowledge: SAP PLM & DEP, Planview Gateway, Mosaic, EQMS, Outlook, Various other in-house systems.
- Continuous Improvement: Attend workshops and other groups to assist with continuous improvement. Strive to continuously improve processes, procedures and working environment for the team. When asked assist with training as a Super User for the team on new Apps, systems to help with training and ongoing support.
