This ensures that we are constantly driving our business forward and offering our customers the highest quality service, whether this is retouching media ready for print or crafting a 3D image for E-commerce sites.Your new role:As an Apprentice Artworker, you will support the creation and preparation of digital packaging artwork and reprographics for print production. Working closely with experienced members of the production team, you will build artwork files, carry out basic pre-flight checks, and ensure that all artwork meets client brand guidelines and Trident’s standard working practices.This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop your technical artwork skills within a fast-paced production environment while gaining exposure to industry tools, processes, and best practice.You will also complete an Apprenticeship whilst fulfilling the Apprentice role. The apprenticeship will support versatile skills and enhancing organisational efficiency by supporting various functions and interacting with customers. The apprenticeship will be aligned with current level of experience and future goals.This role is permanent and full-time role (40 hours per week) On successful completion of your probation period you will follow a Hybrid working pattern 3 days in the office and 2 working from home.What are the responsibilities of an Artist?Produce digital packaging artwork files following brand guidelines and internal standard working practicesBuild and update artwork layouts using industry software such as Adobe Illustrator and PhotoshopPerform basic pre-flight checks on supplied files to ensure artwork is suitable for print productionMaintain a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail to achieve Right First Time qualityWork closely with Senior Artworkers and Production teams to complete assigned tasksFollow established processes and client requirements when producing artwork filesContribute to continuous improvement initiatives and adopt best practices from experienced team membersManage workload effectively to meet deadlines in a fast-paced production environmentCommunicate effectively with internal teams and build positive working relationshipsWho are we looking for?Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and positive attitude.Interest in packaging artwork, graphic design, or print productionExperience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) or similar design softwareUnderstanding of basic print processes or reprographics (desirable but not essential)Ability to follow brand guidelines and technical documentationStrong attention to detail and colour accuracyGood communication and team-working skillsStrong organisational and time-management skillsAbility to identify and resolve issues with guidance from senior team membersAbility to adapt to change in a dynamic working environment.Willingness to learn and develop a wide-range of skillsWhat will we provide for you?You will get to work for a company that is proud of who we are, what we do and how we treat our people – and become part of our Trident DNA.We want to develop and train you to stay with us as a permanent member of our team once you complete your apprenticeship.
