Client: Lancashire Care

Role: Mental Health Nurse

Rates: £19.43 - £33.43 per hour

Shifts: Flexible hours, with shifts available throughout the day, night, and weekends

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide care and rehabilitation for mental health patients
  • Develop individualised support plans tailored to each patient
  • Arrange ongoing, long-term support for patients leaving care
  • Build trusting relationships with patients to put them at ease
  • Offer advice and reassurance through active listening
  • Work closely with other mental healthcare professionals to determine the best treatment plans
  • Support relatives and carers with advice and guidance
  • Maintain up-to-date medical records
  • Perform physical health checks such as vital statistics monitoring and blood tests
  • Administer medications as required
  • Promote mental health initiatives and reduce the stigma surrounding mental health
  • Stay up to date with mental health best practices and latest theories
