Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) – Pennine Care NHS Job Title: Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) Location: Fairfield General Hospital, Rochdale Old Rd, Bury BL9 7TD Band: Band 5 Contract Type: Permanent Shifts: Flexible hours, with shifts available throughout the day, night and at weekends. Key responsibilities: Provide tailored support plans for patients based on their specific diagnosis. Arrange ongoing, long-term support for patients\’ post-care. Build trusting relationships with patients, offering advice and reassurance. Collaborate with doctors, therapists, psychiatrists, and social workers to develop appropriate treatment plans. Advise relatives and carers on patient conditions, treatment, and progress. Keep medical records up to date. Conduct standard physical health checks and administer medications. Discuss available therapies, support networks, and social activities to improve mental health and wellbeing. Manage workloads and shift patterns.
