The predicted salary is between 800 - 1400 £ per month.
We currently have limited positions available for first- or second-year apprentices. This position presents an excellent opportunity for individuals at any stage of their apprenticeship to gain valuable hands-on experience and further develop their skills under the guidance of experienced technicians. This apprenticeship will help you gain Certificate III Agricultural Machinery Mechanics.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks on various agricultural machinery, including tractors, combines, and implements.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and technical manuals.
- Perform repairs and adjustments to engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and other components as required.
- Assist senior technicians in complex repair tasks and learn best practices for efficient and effective service.
- Complete service reports accurately and maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery to customers.
Qualifications/skills
- Enthusiasm for agricultural machinery and a strong desire to learn and develop technical skills.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and a passion for working with tools and machinery.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel off site as needed.
