Role Description This is a full-time post open to UK wide applicants.
You will handle all types of property claims from first notification through to settlement.
Day-to-day tasks include reviewing policy coverage, gathering evidence, conducting site visits, interviewing relevant parties, and preparing clear, accurate reports and recommendations.
The role involves negotiating fair settlements with insurers, policyholders, and other stakeholders, while managing a caseload efficiently and within agreed service standards.
The role will require you to collaborate with internal colleagues and external partners to support technical quality, customer experience, and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications Strong claims handling experience, including end-to-end management of property claims.
Proficiency in claims adjustments and claims management processes, with the ability to evaluate loss and recommend fair settlements.
Solid understanding of insurance principles and policy wordings, particularly in Property Claims and Business Interruption.
Excellent analytical, report writing, and negotiation skills, with attention to detail and sound judgment.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build professional relationships with insurers and policyholders.
Ability to organize workload, prioritize multiple cases, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant professional qualifications (e. g., CILA or progress toward chartered status) are helpful but not absolutely necessary.
