About Topham Guerin

Topham Guerin are the global influence experts. Our teams work across London, New York, Sydney and Auckland, delivering social media, digital communications, content and campaigns for clients in the UK and internationally. You'll work on campaigns for global brands, government and public sector organisations, and high-profile institutions.

The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Art Director / Conceptual Creative who can come up with big ideas that people pay attention to. That might mean developing a campaign platform or finding the idea for a one-off Instagram video. You'll be ready to lead creative projects from initial brief through to final execution. You'll interrogate briefs, have a point of view on the strategic message and approach to take, and be ready to present and sell your ideas. You’re also a reliable designer, ready to take ownership of executing ideas as finished assets. We want someone who can bring structure where it’s needed and think independently, and help set the creative standard for the wider team.

Because digital is our bread and butter, you should also ‘get’ social media. You’ll know what good content looks like and how ideas translate across platforms. You should also be excited by AI. We want someone who sees AI tools as a way to work faster, explore further and make ideas possible that previously wouldn’t have been.

Requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience in art direction, advertising, marketing or a related creative role
  • Excellent conceptual ability backed by strong visual craft
  • A portfolio showing campaign thinking as well as execution
  • Strong design and brand fundamentals
  • A deep understanding of social media and digital culture
  • The ability to move between big campaign thinking and smaller, reactive ideas
  • Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills, with Figma experience a plus
  • Strategic instincts and the ability to interrogate a brief
  • Confidence presenting and defending creative ideas
  • The ability to give clear creative direction to designers and other makers
  • Able to hop into production to take the idea from concept to a finished asset
  • Experience owning major projects and pitches
  • An appetite for experimenting with AI and emerging creative tools
  • A team player who takes ownership, pitches in and cares about getting the work right

Application requirements

Please submit your application by email. These will be the first applications to be reviewed. You should include a cover letter explaining why you are a strong fit for the role, plus your CV and a link to your portfolio.
