As a Senior Performance Media Executive at Topham Guerin, you'll own the planning, activation, optimisation, and reporting of performance media campaigns across paid search, paid social, and programmatic channels. You'll play a central role in shaping acquisition strategy and performance outcomes for one of our largest and most important clients in the AI sector. Search will be a significant part of your day-to-day, but this is not a search-only role — you'll be thinking and operating cross-channel, understanding how platforms and messaging work together to drive meaningful business results, and proactively identifying opportunities to improve performance, whether that means refining what exists or proposing new approaches altogether.
This role is for someone who loves performance media — not just running campaigns, but understanding why they work, when they don’t, and what to do about it. You’re excited by complexity. You care about outcomes, not just metrics. And you want to be accountable for real performance on a high-stakes B2B client in the AI space. This role comes with real responsibility — and real freedom. This is not a role where you wait for instructions. It’s a role where you take responsibility.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Owning the day-to-day management and optimisation of campaigns across Paid Search, Social and Programmatic as part of a broader cross-channel performance strategy.
- Designing and evolving high-performance campaign structures, using testing and analysis to continually improve results.
- Executing and optimising paid activity across LinkedIn, Meta, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
- Translating performance data into clear insights that inform strategy, creative briefs, and investment decisions.
- Producing concise, insightful reporting and confidently presenting performance updates and recommendations.
- Collaborating closely with internal teams and clients to shape strategy and drive better outcomes.
- Staying ahead of platform changes, algorithm shifts, and ad-tech developments — and understanding how they impact performance in practice.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience running performance media campaigns, with a strong grasp of campaign structure, optimisation, and targeting across paid search and paid social.
- A solid foundational understanding of how media performance connects to broader business outcomes (e.g. leads, pipeline, revenue), not just clicks or platform metrics.
- Confidence working with data — including strong skills in Excel or Google Sheets — and a genuine interest in turning numbers into insight.
- Comfort making judgment calls, forming hypotheses, and explaining why a decision was made.
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple campaigns and priorities without losing attention to detail.
- Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
- You actively seek ways to improve work through automation and AI tools. You’re curious about new technology and quick to adopt tools that improve speed, quality, or insight.
- A proactive mindset, commercial awareness, and a desire to keep improving your craft.
Principles you’ll live by:
- Be data-driven. Use data to inform decisions and challenge assumptions.
- Think boldly. Constantly question what’s possible and look for smarter ways to work.
- Stay curious. Be eager to learn; about platforms, audiences, tools, and culture.
- Collaborate with purpose. Work with humility, openness, and a focus on results.
- Be accountable for your actions. Take pride in every detail and be relentless in your pursuit of excellence.
- Use feedback. Turn it into fuel for better work and smarter strategies.
