About Topham Guerin
Topham Guerin are the global influence experts. Our teams work across London, New York, Sydney and Auckland, delivering social media, digital communications, content and campaigns for clients in the UK and internationally. You'll work on campaigns for global brands, government and public sector organisations, and high-profile institutions.
The Role
You’ll have a strong design vision and conceptual ability. You can elevate undefined creative concepts and evolve design beyond current guidelines. And you’ll be ready to sell your work too, pulling together arguments for your work that win clients over. You’re a go-to authority on best practice, across channels and formats. And when required you manage and lead other members of the Creative team on the more technical aspects of design. Because digital is our bread and butter, you should also ‘get’ social media. You’ll understand what makes something work in a feed, how design changes across platforms and why social-first creative is different from traditional advertising.
While design will be your domain, we’re looking for someone with range. You should be comfortable flexing into web design, motion and video when the idea calls for it. And we’re embracing AI across our creative workflow, so you should be experimenting with how new tools can help you explore ideas, move faster and produce better work.
Requirements
- 10+ years’ design experience in advertising, marketing, branding or a related creative environment
- Strong design fundamentals and excellent attention to detail
- A portfolio showing strong craft and creative thinking across a range of formats
- The ability to develop visual direction, not just follow existing guidelines
- A strong understanding of social media and digital design
- Excellent Adobe Creative Suite skills
- Strong Figma skills
- Experience across some combination of web design, motion design and video editing
- After Effects and Premiere Pro experience is an advantage
- The ability to work independently and respond constructively to feedback
- An appetite for experimenting with AI and emerging creative tools
- A team player who takes ownership, pitches in and cares about getting the work right
What We Offer
- 20 days’ annual leave, plus UK statutory bank holidays.
- Employer pension contribution of 3%, increasing to 4% after 12 months.
- Private medical insurance following six months of continuous employment, subject to company policy.
- Professional development and training support.
- The opportunity to work across UK and international projects.
- A creative and internationally connected working environment.
The role is based in our London office, combining office time with working from home days. Some work outside standard office hours may be required for various client and work activities.
Application Requirements
Please submit your application by email. These will be the first applications to be reviewed. You should include a cover letter explaining why you are a strong fit for the role, plus your CV and a link to your portfolio.
