Senior PR & External Communications Manager
We're looking for an experienced PR and External Communications Lead to shape how TOPdesk's story is heard across the Netherlands, Germany and the UK.
You'll own our PR approach across three distinct markets, strengthening media relationships and turning our product and AI strategy into stories that earn attention and credibility.
Working closely with our CMO, Executive Team, and Marketing and Communications teams, you'll help build a consistent TOPdesk narrative while adapting it to each market.
As TOPdesk grows, we expect more markets to join your remit.
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree
- Salary starting at £55,200 with profit share scheme
- Own PR strategy and execution acrossthe Netherlands, Germany and the UK, adapting your approach to the maturity and media landscape of each market.
- Support and prepare our Executive Teamfor interviews, panels and speaking opportunities, from messaging and talking points to preparation and follow-up.
- Lead communications around key TOPdesk moments, includingevents, product announcements and our evolving AI roadmap.
- Partner closely with Internal Communicationsso our employees understand the story we’re telling externally — and why.
- Manage PR agencies and freelance partners across markets, setting clear priorities and ensuring high-quality, locally relevant execution.
- Build a meaningful approach to PR measurement, focusing onshare of voice, quality of coverage, message pull-through and business relevance, rather than simply counting media mentions.
- Adapt messaging and tone to different European audiences without losing TOPdesk’s global positioning.
- Help build a scalable European PR playbookas additional markets join the remit.

You’ll work directly with senior leaders, influence how we communicate our approach to AI, and help strengthen TOPdesk’s reputation across three very different European markets.
And as our international presence grows, so will the scope of this role.

Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who combines strategic communications thinking with a willingness to stay close to execution.
- What you’ll need
- (10+ years) Significant experience in PR, external communications or corporate communications, ideally within B2B Saa S, enterprise software or technology.10+ years of experience is preferred.
- A strong track record of managing communications acrossmultiple markets or international audiences.
- Strong experience building media relationships inat least one of our key European markets — the Netherlands, Germany or the UK— and an understanding of how PR approaches differ between markets.
- Experience translating complex technology or product developments into stories that journalists and business audiences genuinely care about.
- Confidence advising and preparing C-suite executives and senior leadersfor media interviews, panels and speaking engagements.
- A strong understanding of how PR and earned media contribute to AI search and discovery (AEO/GEO).
- Excellent English communication and writing skills.
- Experience managing PR agencies, freelancers or other external communications partners.
- The ability to build structure where it doesn’t yet exist — from media strategy and messaging frameworks to measurement and ways of working.

- Knowledge of the German B2B technology and business media landscape, as Germany iskey growth market.
- Experience communicating around AI, enterprise software, ITSM or digital transformation.
- German or Dutch language skillswould be a strong advantage.
