As a Finance Assistant, the ability to prioritize responsibilities and manage your time effectively comes naturally to you, ensuring efficiency with every detail you handle and see through to completion. You are required to display exceptionally high standards regardless of the relative priority of the task you are focused on.
Your ability to professionally communicate, both in writing and verbally, will shine through with every client and stakeholder interaction you have. Through your attention to detail and the emphasis you place on exceptional service standards, discrepancies will be resolved appropriately, and incoming payments will be processed efficiently. You understand the impact exceptional service truly has on your own success as well as the strengthening of client relationships. You set the bar high and work daily to push the limits when it comes to service standards.
Working closely with the local and international Finance team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day financial administration of TOPdesk UK. Reporting directly to the Managing Director of the UK, you will have an opportunity to work with team members from all levels of the business.
What are you going to do?
- Performing financial and accounting-related activities in a timely manner
- Prepare finance journal entries and account reconciliation reports
- Evaluate financial documents for correctness and completeness
- Generate financial transaction records and payments
- Address financial issues and inquiries in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate documentation for financial operations and transactions
- Perform month and quarter-end activities such as sales/consultancy invoicing
- Management of financial data in and between both LIFT and Business Central
- Support accounts payable and receivable activities
- Assist in managing credit and collection activities
Ideal candidate requirements:
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree
- 1 – 3 years of work experience (must include finance or accounting responsibilities)
- High standard of professional communication skills
- Analytical and accurate
- Highly organised
- Positive, can-do attitude
