Position: Marketing Executive: Topdeck Travel
Reporting to: Marketing Manager
Location Base: Chiswick, London, UK (3 x days per week / 2 x days remote)

Through our brands Topdeck Travel and Back-Roads Touring, we are ever developing our product range, driving growth in key sales markets, innovating product delivery, and ensuring we deliver a first-class customer experience.
The Role: As the Marketing Exec for Topdeck Travel, you\'ll work closely with the Marketing, Creative, and Digital teams and external agencies to manage and deliver marketing activity. Your role will encompass activating campaigns that grow our presence within the Australian youth market, helping the brand to increase its online traffic, drive engagement, and increase sales revenue based on the objectives set along with other marketing-related initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the Marketing Manager to develop effective marketing campaigns, managing them from brief through to post-campaign reporting
- Messaging planning and deployment across our channels working with the marketing and creative teams
- Managing the email marketing database and e-marketing plan ensuring the data is maximized with tailored and relevant content in line with the brand campaigns
- Manage our email marketing, paid social media, PPC, web, and affiliates marketing activity ensuring all channels are optimized with relevant content in line with the brand/business objectives
- Work with our Media agency partner to monitor day-to-day activity with a view to optimize sales conversions
- Deliver marketing and communication initiatives for new projects and campaigns
- Research (primary and secondary) to learn more about our customers in market, using learnings to build marketing strategies and content
- Conduct regular competitor and market analysis to inform your marketing campaigns and communications
- Monitor, analyze, and interpret data to produce meaningful insights that can be used to make campaign optimization recommendations
- Present results of campaigns to the wider team, using the results to improve future campaigns and drive performance of key areas such as open rates and click-throughs and sales optimization
- Analysing and reporting on campaigns across all channels on a monthly basis
- Any other marketing-related tasks, as directed by the Marketing Manager and Chief Marketing Officer
Experience, Requirements, and Key Behaviours:
- 1-2 years experience in planning and delivering marketing campaigns and activity
- Desired tertiary degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, or related fields
- Articulate with excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to appraise creative work and its suitability based on the brief
- Ability to multi-task and work to deadlines
- Analytically minded with excellent attention to detail
- Experience with the Test and Learn philosophy
- Ideally (but not mandatory) have experience in marketing to young, Gen Z consumers or 55+ travel seekers in the AU/NZ/US markets
- Love of a collaborative, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- A willingness to learn and grow and always be curious
- Openness to work in a global environment, which will involve some out-of-hours meetings
- A passion for all things travel-related
