Topcliffe School is looking for a caring and highly motivated Teaching Assistant experienced in Early Years with SEND, to support pupils with ASC in our Early Years or KS1 Resource Base classes.
Responsibilities
- Work within Early Years or KS1 Resource Base classes, supporting pupils with SEND.
- Provide support to pupils with Autism and complex communication and sensory needs.
- Use a variety of communication tools and strategies to support children with limited verbal communication.
- Aim to achieve the best outcomes for all pupils, maintaining high expectations.
Requirements & Skills
- Experienced in working within Early Years and/or SEND provision, understanding benefits of play.
- Inclusive practitioner with experience supporting children with Autism and complex communication/sensory needs.
- Passionate about making a difference, thinking creatively to support children with limited verbal communication.
