An established and highly regarded joinery and interiors contractor based in Surrey is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with joinery experience to join their growing commercial team. The company delivers high-quality bespoke joinery and interior fit-out packages across commercial, residential, and high-end sectors.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor who enjoys working closely with production, site teams, and clients on technically detailed projects.

The Role

As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial management of joinery projects from tender stage through to final account. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and managing cost plans, budgets, and forecasts
  • Handling valuations, variations, and final accounts
  • Procurement of materials and subcontract packages
  • Preparing and reviewing tender documentation
  • Managing subcontractor payments and cost control
  • Working closely with project managers, site teams, and workshop staff
  • Ensuring projects are delivered within budget while maintaining quality and margin

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within joinery, fit-out, or interiors
  • Strong understanding of bespoke joinery packages and manufacturing processes
  • Experience managing projects from pre-contract through to completion
  • Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
