Top Tier Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers for a leading transport and logistics company based in Skelmersdale. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure ongoing work with excellent rates of pay, modern vehicles and the opportunity to work for a well-established haulage business.
The Role
You’ll be transporting a variety of palletised and general haulage goods across the UK, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and on time. This is a tramping role, so you’ll be away during the working week.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving a Class 1 (C+E) articulated vehicle
- Nationwide deliveries and collections
- Completing daily vehicle checks
- Maintaining accurate delivery paperwork
- Complying with Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations
- Delivering excellent customer service
Requirements
- Full UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Good knowledge of Driver Hours Regulations
- Professional and reliable attitude
- Previous tramping experience preferred
