We are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers with at least 2 years experience for ongoing work. This role offers regular work, competitive pay rates, and a variety of deliveries including palletised goods and some refrigerated work.
Job Role
- Driving HGV Class 1 (C+E) vehicles safely and professionally
- Completing 12 drops per shift
- Delivering mainly palletised goods with some fridge work involved
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Ensuring all delivery paperwork and tachograph records are completed correctly
- Following all driver hours, WTD, and road safety regulations
Shift Information
- Day shifts: Start times between 02:00 - 06:00
- Night shifts: Start times between 20:00 - 00:00
- Shifts can be up to 12 hours
- Various shift patterns available
Pay Rates
Experienced Drivers Temp to Perm (2+ years' experience)
- Mon - Fri Days: £17.00
- Mon - Fri Nights: £17.50
- Saturday: £18.00
- Sunday: £19.00
- Bank Holidays: £19.00
Experienced Drivers Contract Only (2+ years experience)
- Mon - Fri Days: £19.00
- Mon - Fri Nights: £21.00
- Saturday: £22.00
- Sunday: £24.00
- Bank Holidays: £26.00
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence (2 years class 1 experience)
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Good understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations
- Professional and reliable attitude
