Our client, a freight forwarder is looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their office in Dagenham. Must hold a valid forklift licence.
Requirements:
- Counterbalance forklift licence essential
- Manual handling training essential
- Shipping/freight warehouse experience (groupage/abnormal size cargo)
General duties:
- Forklift operations – internal warehouse / external yard / Mobile yard ramp
- Loading / Unloading of trailers and domestic vehicles
- Manual Handling of light cargo
- Providing holiday/sickness cover as required
- Order processing / Admin
- Daily housekeeping
Monday to Friday (08:00 to 18:00 three days + 08:00 to 17:00 two days)
Saturday Mornings on rotation (08:00 to 10:00)
One hour for lunch
Total 45hrs per week
