Our client, a freight forwarder is looking for a Pricing Coordinator to join their office in Feltham.
Working as part of the Pricing team, the Pricing Co-Ordinator is responsible for the daily support of the network and Pricing Manager to ensure customer’s demands are met, covering, but not limited to, forwarding activity, quotations, billing queries and reporting – delivered to the highest standard, keeping in mind attention to detail and business acumen.
Pricing Co-Ordinators are responsible for:
- Providing pricing & ad hoc rates to overseas partners, offices, BDM’s and customers.
- Quoting all spot shipments from the network and tenders that cannot be answered with self-serve tools.
- Reporting and analysing quote statistics and trends.
- Transition of won shipment information to the correct operational team.
- Create and maintain pricing tools (spreadsheets, calculators, databases).
- Inform pricing updates to relevant support teams for WWICs, CargoWise-1, etc. as required.
- Corrective Actions – identify and implement changes in process to improve overall company performance.
