Our client, a freight forwarder is looking for a Trainee Sales Executive to join their office in Grays. This is an entry-level position with full on-the-job training provided. The successful candidate will learn and develop skills in the following areas:
- Understanding the fundamentals of the shipping and logistics industry, including key terminology
- Learning how to use our operating and quoting systems
- Communicating with customers, suppliers, and overseas agents
- Preparing quotations for customers and following up on opportunities
- Developing customer service and relationship management skills
- Supporting the office and management team with day-to-day administrative tasks
Requirements:
- No previous experience required – college and school leavers are welcome to apply
- This is a desk-based role working from our office
