We are currently recruiting for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a growing freight forwarding company. This role will be focused purely on sales and generating new business opportunities across Sea and Air Imports & Exports. Experience within International Road Freight would also be beneficial, although this is not essential.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business relationships, managing the full sales cycle, and growing the company’s client base within the freight forwarding sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generating and securing new business opportunities
  • Developing long-term relationships with new and existing clients
  • Selling Sea & Air Import/Export freight solutions
  • Identifying opportunities within target markets
  • Managing client meetings, quotations, and negotiations
  • Working closely with internal operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new business
Requirements:
  • Previous experience within Freight Forwarding Sales / Business Development
  • Strong knowledge of Sea & Air Freight Imports & Exports
  • Existing portfolio or network of clients to target
  • Proven track record in winning new business
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • International Road Freight knowledge beneficial but not essential
