Our client, a freight forwarder is looking for an Ocean Import Operator to join their office in Barking.
Key Responsibilities
- Submit and manage customs entries accurately and efficiently.
- Handle shipments from start to finish, ensuring all documentation and compliance requirements are met.
- Liaise with customers regarding shipment progress, documentation, and any issues that arise.
- Communicate and coordinate with shipping lines, agents, and other logistics partners.
- Arrange and book deliveries once shipments are cleared.
- Manage billing and ensure accurate invoicing for completed jobs.
