We are extremely pleased to present an exceptional opportunity to spearhead the design function within a thriving business specialising in premium joinery and fit-out projects. This role will naturally evolve into full leadership of the design team as the business continues to scale, influencing both design strategy and business growth managing the full design lifecycle and delivering exceptional quality with pristine finishes for clients. Salary is negotiated based on your skill level and experience.
What you’ll be doing:
- Producing precise manufacturing drawings for bespoke joinery, turning creative concepts into high-quality, tangible outcomes.
- Leading the creation of general arrangement, concept, and presentation drawings, working closely with clients to shape designs through to final sign-off.
- Building and developing detailed 3D models and visualisations that support seamless internal coordination and enhance our client’s experience.
- Driving the implementation of AI-assisted design solutions and cutting-edge digital workflows, advancing design innovation and operational effectiveness.
- Overseeing the design process across projects, applying commercial insight and programme awareness to deliver exceptional results.
- Collaborating with senior leadership to shape project strategy, making critical design decisions, and guaranteeing buildable, high-quality outcomes.
Your skills and experiences:
- Proven experience producing detailed manufacturing drawings for bespoke joinery or fit-out projects.
- Strong proficiency with 2D/3D design software.
- Deep understanding of construction techniques, material properties, and buildability to deliver interior fit-out designs that are both practical and high-quality.
- Able to lead the design function independently, establishing streamlined processes that can scale with the business.
