A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Sustainability Executive to join a growing and forward-thinking travel business. This is an exciting opportunity for a sustainability professional who wants to make a genuine impact within the travel industry. You'll play a key role in turning sustainability strategy and data into practical action across the business, working closely with Product, Marketing, Operations and the wider supply chain. This is a hands-on role for someone with a solid understanding of ESG and carbon accounting who is ready to take ownership and make a difference.

THE ROLE

  • Supporting the development and delivery of the annual Sustainability Strategy and tracking progress against KPIs
  • Owning and maintaining the ESG dashboard, ensuring emissions data is accurate and audit-ready
  • Calculating and reporting Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, with involvement in developing Scope 3 measurement
  • Leading the production of the annual Impact Report, ensuring information is accurate, credible and evidence-based
  • Working with suppliers, airlines, hotels, ground operators and Tour Managers to improve sustainability practices and emissions data
  • Coordinating the internal sustainability team and supporting company-wide sustainability campaigns
  • Identifying opportunities to improve sustainability performance across the business

ABOUT YOU

  • Around 1–3 years' experience in sustainability, ESG or responsible business
  • A good understanding of ESG frameworks and reporting
  • Practical experience of carbon accounting, ideally covering Scope 1 and 2
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel capability
  • Experience working with complex data and producing accurate reports to deadlines
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to communicate sustainability information clearly to different audiences
  • A proactive, self-starting approach with the ability to take ownership
  • A genuine passion for sustainability, responsible tourism and making a positive impact
  • Experience within travel, tourism or hospitality would be advantageous
