We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Wag and Drag Driver to join a well-established recycling and waste management company based in Gravesend, Kent. This is a long-term opportunity offering stable work, competitive pay and a guaranteed 45-hour contract.
Pay:
- £17.00 per hour
- £20.00 per hour on Saturdays
- Guaranteed full Saturday day rate
- Guaranteed 45 hours per week
- One-hour paid break each day
- Weekly pay

Working Pattern:
- Week 1: Monday to Friday
- Week 2: Monday to Saturday
- Five-day rota, including some weekend work
- Flexible start times available
Main Duties:
- Driving HGV Class 1 Wag and Drag vehicles
- Transporting recycling and waste materials
- Carrying out local and regional collections and deliveries
- Completing daily vehicle checks
- Following all health, safety and transport regulations
- Completing relevant paperwork
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience
- Wag and Drag experience preferred
- Reliable, professional and safety-conscious
