We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Driver’s Mate/Warehouse Operative based in the Milton Keynes area, near Woburn Safari Park. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company offering full-time work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be required to assist drivers with deliveries and also work within the warehouse when not out on the road. This role would suit someone who is hardworking, reliable, and able to work efficiently as part of a team.
Details:
- TEMP TO PERM ROLE
- Shifts - Monday to Friday one week, Tuesday to Saturday (rotating)
- Hours - 6.30am till 3.30pm
- Salary - £13.80 per hour
DUTIES:
- We are looking for customer focused Drivers Mates where you will be part of a home delivery team, delivering into customers’ homes
- Delivery of on average 15-20 drops
- Unload deliveries to customer location
- Provide excellent Customer Service
- Loading and unloading
- Ensuring the correct items are loaded onto the vehicles ready for delivery
- Calling customers to advise them on their delivery time
- Providing a high-level customer service at all times
- Delivering goods to into customers' homes
EXPERIENCE:
- Background of working in a Driver's Mate environment
- Good attention to details
- Happy with manual & physically demanding tasks
