Job Type: Full-time

Looking to take your finance career in a new direction? If you have a background in finance or accounting and are looking to move into a specialist consulting role, this could be the perfect next step. We're recruiting on behalf of Elevare, a growing ERP consultancy that develops finance professionals into successful ERP Consultants. This is a rare opportunity to combine your accounting knowledge with a client-facing role, working on major implementation projects while learning directly from an experienced Director. No previous ERP consulting experience is required – full training will be provided.

The Opportunity

This isn't your typical finance position. Instead of month-end reporting and routine accounting tasks, you'll become a trusted consultant, helping businesses implement and optimise industry-leading ERP systems. Working alongside senior consultants, you'll learn how to deliver ERP implementation projects from discovery through to go-live, gaining specialist skills that are highly sought after and offer excellent long-term career prospects. Projects typically last 6-9 months, allowing you to build strong relationships with clients and see the full lifecycle of each implementation. The role is entirely account management and project-focused - there is no sales or business development required. You'll inherit existing client projects and guide them through successful implementation and ongoing support.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting and delivering ERP implementation projects for a range of clients
  • Learning to configure finance systems including Epicor Financials and BisTrack
  • Meeting with finance and operational teams to understand their processes
  • Delivering user training and helping clients get the most from their ERP systems
  • Supporting data migration, testing and system configuration
  • Translating financial processes into practical system solutions
  • Building long-term relationships with clients throughout each project
  • Working closely with the Director, receiving hands-on mentoring and training

Who We're Looking For

This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys finance but is looking for a more varied, people-focused career. You'll ideally have experience in a role such as:

  • Management Accountant
  • Systems Accountant
  • Finance Analyst
  • Assistant Finance Manager
  • Financial Accountant
  • Finance Business Partner
  • Or another accounting or finance position with strong systems exposure

You'll also have:

  • A solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
  • Experience with month-end or year-end reporting
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence working with clients
  • A genuine interest in systems, technology and process improvement

Previous ERP consulting experience is not required.

Training & Development

Elevare believes in developing talent from within. From day one, you'll work directly alongside the Director and experienced consultants, receiving structured training across:

  • ERP implementation
  • Consulting techniques
  • Client workshop delivery
  • Financial system configuration
  • Data migration
  • Project delivery

As your confidence grows, you'll begin leading your own client engagements and progress into a fully-fledged ERP Consultant.

Hybrid Working

During your initial 3-6 month training period, you'll be primarily office-based to ensure you receive the support and mentoring needed to succeed. Once fully trained, you'll move to a flexible hybrid arrangement, typically 1-2 days per week in the office, with the remaining time split between home working and client visits. If you prefer to work in the office full-time, this can also be accommodated. Flexibility is key, as occasional travel to client sites will form part of the role.

What's On Offer?

  • £38,000 - £45,000 salary (depending on experience)
  • Performance-related bonus
  • 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Employer pension contribution
  • Hybrid and flexible working
  • Ongoing ERP and consulting training
  • Clear career progression into a specialist consultancy role
  • Opportunity to work directly with senior leadership and shape your career from the outset

Why Apply?

If you're looking to move beyond traditional finance into a specialist, client-facing career where you'll gain highly valuable ERP consulting skills, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing consultancy that invests heavily in developing its people. Whether you're a Systems Accountant looking for your next challenge or a Management Accountant wanting to step into consulting, we'd love to hear from you.

Due to the location of the office and regular travel to client sites, this role requires a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
