The Role:

You will be assigned to a production cell and responsible for setting and maintaining CNC sliding head lathes to ensure smooth and efficient operation. The role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards across all machines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set and maintain a designated cell of CNC sliding head lathes
  • Ensure consistent quality across all machines under your responsibility
  • Work closely with programmers and operators to drive process and efficiency improvements
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and production targets

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Knowledge of CNC sliding head lathe setting is beneficial but not essential
  • Experience with Citizen, Hanwha, or Star lathes is an advantage
  • Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings
  • Familiarity with gauges, inspection tools, and interpreting metrology reports
  • Experience selecting and managing production tooling and tooling strategies
