HGV1/LGV1/Class One/Class 1/Category C+E Driver required
Our prestigious client based in Wednesbury are urgently seeking HGV1/LGV1/Class One/Class 1/Category C+E Drivers
As a HGV1/LGV1/Class One/Class 1/Category C+E Driver, your duties will include the following:
- Driving a HGV1/LGV1/Class One/Class 1/Category C+E flat bed/curtain sided vehicle with a sliding roof
- Carrying out deliveries of steel coil, sheet, tube and bar to various sites across the UK using ratchet straps and sheets (When required)
- Maximum 3 x drops plus backloads per shift
- Start times can vary between 0100 up to 2330
The ideal HGV1/LGV1/Class One/Class 1/Category C+E Driver will have the following:
- A valid HGV1/LGV1/Class One/Class 1/Category C+E driving licence
- A valid and in date driver CPC card
- A valid and in date digital tachograph card
- Experience of either carrying steel or if not, abnormal loads
- be proficient in the use of ratchet straps
The successful HGV1/LGV1/Class One/Class 1/Category C+E Driver can expect the following:
- A highly competetive hourly rate of between £19.05 to £20.17 - PAYE
- Weekly pay
- Ongoing and regular work on offer
