Paint Plant Operative
Location: Hixon Hours: 38 hours per week (Monday to Thursday) Shift Times: 07:00 -17:00 Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Paint Plant Operative to join our team in Hixon.
This is a hands-on role within our paint plant, assisting with the hanging and unhanging of parts throughout the painting process to ensure production runs efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Hanging components onto paint line fixtures prior to painting.
- Unhanging painted parts and preparing them for the next stage of production.
- Inspecting parts for quality and reporting any issues.
- Following production schedules and work instructions.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area.
- Supporting the wider production team as required.
About You
We are looking for someone who
- Has previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Is comfortable carrying out repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
- Has a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Can work effectively as part of a team.
- Is reliable and punctual.
Experience within a paint plant or a similar role would be an advantage; however, we would also welcome applications from candidates with relevant manufacturing experience who are keen to learn and develop.
