Job Overview
We are looking to recruit a Tester to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Hixon.
The role will involve testing finished products and assemblies, carrying out quality checks and identifying any faults before products are released.
This would be a great opportunity for someone with previous testing, electrical, electronics, assembly or manufacturing experience who has a good eye for detail and enjoys fault finding.
Key Responsibilities of a Tester
- Testing products and assembled components
- Carrying out quality and functionality checks
- Identifying and diagnosing faults
- Working from technical drawings and specifications
- Using testing equipment and hand tools
- Recording test results and reporting any issues
Requirements for a Tester
- Previous testing, manufacturing or assembly experience
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- An electrical or electronics background would be advantageous
- Previous fault-finding experience would be beneficial
- Good attention to details
Pay & Working Hours for a tester
- £14.23 per hour xgikmsk
- 38 hours per week
- Monday to Thursday
- 6:30am – 4:30pm
- Some flexibility with working hours
- 4-day working week
- Friday, Saturday and Sunday off
