About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and organised Junior Purchasing Assistant to join our Purchasing team. Reporting directly to the Purchasing Manager, this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within purchasing and supply chain operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day purchasing function, ensuring orders are processed efficiently and supplier relationships are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the processing and management of purchase orders
- Liaising with suppliers by phone and email
- Monitoring deliveries and following up on outstanding orders
- Maintaining accurate purchasing records and documentation
- Supporting the Purchasing Manager with administrative tasks
- Helping to ensure stock and purchasing information is kept up to date
- Managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
