TopGear Recruitment Solutions are working in partnership with one of the UK's top ten companies to work for in the food and drink industry to recruit multiple Class 1 HGV Drivers for a temp-to-perm opportunity in Cannock.
The Role
We are looking for reliable and professional Class 1 HGV Drivers to join a busy transport operation, carrying out fragile deliveries while providing a high standard of service.
What We Are Looking For
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Experience with Class 1 driving
- Physically able and willing to carry out manual handling
- Reliable, professional and able to work independently
- Good attention to detail, particularly when handling fragile goods
- Previous farm or hands-on work experience is beneficial but not essential
What We Can Offer You
- Temp-to-perm opportunity
- £36,716.97 per annum
- Overtime paid after 12 hours at £21.01 per hour
- Guaranteed contractual hours every month, paid even if not worked
- Consistent day/night shifts
- Predictable 4 on / 4 off rota
