I have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Director working on a major project in the Hampshire area with a hugely successful civil engineering contractor in the water sector.

You will be responsible for all aspects of project delivery.

Requirements of the Project Director:
  • Experience of managing a major project or large framework values in the water civil engineering sector
  • Proven leadership experience in the water / civil engineering sector
  • Ideally Degree qualified
  • In-depth understanding of the entire project lifecycle and requirements of all parties involved at each stage
  • Technical knowledge combined with the ability to collaborate, coordinate and manage external partners
  • In-depth knowledge of NEC contracts
Responsibilities of the Project Director:
  • Responsible for all aspects of project delivery
  • Promote exceptional safety and delivery quality standards
  • Maintain good relationships with joint venture partners and suppliers
  • Ensure that appropriately detailed construction plans and method statements are prepared, in place and approved prior to commencement of activities
  • Ensure all commercial aspects of the project are managed
