Job Title: Field Sales Representative

Reports to: Commercial Manager

Direct Reports: N/A

Location: Nationwide (Field-Based) with Office/Remote Work as Needed

Hours: Full-time, Flexible (Includes Some Evenings & Events)

Your Mission:

As a Field Sales Representative at Top Cuvée, you will be at the forefront of growing our trade channel – winning new business and deepening our relationships with existing customers.

Born out of hospitality, we know how to engage customers, but we want to push our sales function to the next level. Your mission is to build, nurture, and grow a high-quality trade customer base while ensuring the Top Cuvée brand remains front and centre in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Account Management

  • Identify, qualify, and convert new trade leads into loyal customers.
  • Build and manage relationships with retail stores and hospitality venues across the UK, increasing Top Cuvée's presence in the market.
  • Execute direct debit mandates and streamline payment processes for clients.
  • Develop a structured outreach and contact plan to ensure high engagement and repeat business.

Sales Performance & Growth

  • Own and exceed sales targets, driving revenue growth through a structured, strategic sales approach.
  • Work closely with the Commercial Manager to define and refine KPIs, ensuring sales efforts align with company goals.
  • Provide weekly and monthly sales reports, detailing performance, insights, and opportunities.

Brand & Customer Engagement

  • Educate and train new and key trade customers on the Top Cuvée portfolio, ensuring they can confidently sell our products.
  • Develop and implement activation programs that enhance brand awareness and drive customer engagement.
  • Organise and participate in trade events, tastings, and industry activations to build brand visibility.
  • Represent Top Cuvée at trade shows, festivals, and promotional events as required

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Communication

  • Work closely with Marketing to ensure seamless coordination on events, activations, and key brand initiatives.
  • Communicate regularly with the wider team to share sales insights and customer feedback that drive business decisions.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge across our wine portfolio and educate customers and team members accordingly.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Drive, enthusiasm, resilience and ability to connect with people
  • Proven experience in a sales role, preferably within the drinks, hospitality, or FMCG sectors.
  • Ability to drive new business, generate leads, and grow existing accounts.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a strong ability to build relationships.
  • Organised, self-motivated, and results-driven with a commercial mindset.
  • Comfortable with CRM systems and reporting tools.
  • Understanding of wine, with a strong knowledge of (or willingness to learn) the Top Cuvée portfolio.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel nationwide.
