Warehouse Operations Supervisor
to lead a busy despatch function within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring products are received, stored and dispatched safely, accurately and on time. You will lead a team of warehouse operatives, maintain high standards of stock control and compliance, and drive continuous improvement across safety, quality and operational performance. Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate and develop a team of warehouse operatives. Ensure stock is correctly received, labelled, rotated and available when required. Maintain warehouse housekeeping, GMP and health & safety standards. Monitor service levels to ensure products are processed and dispatched efficiently. Complete people management activities including training records, return-to-work meetings and performance reviews. Liaise effectively with production, engineering, quality and other operational departments. Minimise waste and identify opportunities to improve processes and productivity. Ensure all warehouse documentation and system transactions are completed accurately and on time. Support internal and external audits while maintaining an audit-ready environment. About You
Previous supervisory or team leadership experience within warehousing, stores, logistics or goods-in operations. Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to prioritise workloads. Confident working in a fast-paced environment and delivering results under pressure. Excellent communication and people management skills. A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement. High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining operational standards.
