We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Air Conditioning Installations. The position will be working for a very well established Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Company that deal with high calibre commercial clients throughout Berkshire, Hampshire and London.
This Project Manager will be dealing with projects ranging from Β£5,000 to Β£500,000, installing air conditioning units that include splits, AHUs and VRVs. This Project Manager is not running the project on site; however, they will be dealing with:
- Adjusting design
- Site surveys
- Ordering and organising materials
- All financial responsibilities
- Management of sub contractors
- Commissioning and snagging
The right person for this position will already have a strong background as a Project Manager or has worked as a senior installation engineer looking for the next step in their career. We do need this person to have a technical understanding of air conditioning.
Responsibilities:
- Not on-site project management; focus on design adjustments, site surveys, ordering and organising materials, financial responsibilities, management of sub contractors, commissioning and snagging.
Qualifications:
- Strong background in Air Conditioning Installations
- Experience running installation projects
- Full UK Driving licence
- SMSTS is preferred but can be organised
- Based in a commutable location to Reading
- Must have experience in dealing with the financial responsibility of a project
