Junior Fire & Security Engineer β Service & Minor Works
Field-based across the North West β working with senior engineers
Full-Time | MonβThurs 8amβ5pm, Fri 8amβ4pm

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to grow your Fire & Security career alongside experienced engineers, working on high-profile projects across critical sectors including prisons, healthcare, transport, and commercial infrastructure.
You\’ll gain hands-on experience with unique, high-security systems β including exclusive technology developed in-house β while being mentored by some of the best in the industry.
What You\’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the service and maintenance of fire and security systems across a variety of high-security and commercial sites.
- Assisting in small installation and remedial works alongside senior engineers.
- Working on:
- Intruder Systems: Orisec, Texecom, Galaxy
- CCTV: Hanwha, Avigilon, Bosch, Axis
- Access Control & Intercoms: Paxton, Cortech
- Fire Alarms: Advanced, C-TEC
Where You\’ll Work
- Field-based across the North West β working closely with a team of experienced engineers.
- Typical clients include: HM Prisons, NHS, Transport Hubs, Data Centres, and Stadiums.
- Sites are a mix of secure environments and general commercial properties.

The Package
- Salary: Β£32,000 β Β£42,000 (depending on experience)
- Overtime: After 40 hours (T&H to Saturday, DT Sunday)
- Call-Out Rota: 1 in 6 weeks (low call volume β 2/3 calls max per week)
- Van: Brand new vehicle + personal use
- Fuel Card: Included
- Holiday: 25 days + bank holidays
- Laptop & Phone: Provided

Who We\’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in the Fire & Security industry, ideally having completed an apprenticeship or just coming to the end of one.
- Comfortable working with a range of security and alarm systems.
- Keen to continue learning and building technical experience.
- Reliable, professional, and eager to take the next step in your engineering career.
- Based in the North West with a clean UK driving licence.
