Contract: Permanent, Full time, Term time only

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a dynamic and child-centred Behaviour Team at Toot Hill School
  • Manage and coordinate staffing in the Reset Room
  • Supervise students removed from lessons for behavioural reasons, ensuring a calm, structured, and purposeful learning environment
  • Actively work with students to reflect on their actions, understand behaviour policies and facilitate restorative conversations to support their return to class
  • Manage the behaviour, welfare and academic achievement of our students
  • Work closely with students, parents, carers and staff to remove barriers to learning and progress
  • Work closely with pastoral staff, Heads of Year, and Senior Leaders to enforce school policies and communicate with staff regarding students' needs
  • Analyse data to inform and implement appropriate intervention, mentoring or counselling, ensuring our students respond positively
  • Keep accurate, high-quality records of behaviour incidents, interventions, and student progress at Toot Hill School
  • Have strong, consistent, and firm behaviour management skills, with the ability to de-escalate challenging situations
