ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Duties & Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and alcohol beverage control policies.
  • Extensive knowledge of the food, drink, and specials menus.
  • Accurately take, ring in, and serve orders to the customers’ specifications.
  • Able to use the POS systems with efficiency.
  • Monitor guests throughout their visit, ensuring their satisfaction with products and services.
  • Conduct all monetary transactions with attention to detail.
  • Handle, store, date, and rotate all products properly.
  • Promptly report equipment and food quality issues to a manager.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with all persons in the restaurant.
  • Complete all opening, closing, and side duties.
  • Work as a team with your fellow co-workers and treat each other with kindness and respect.

Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years of age or older with a current TAPS Card and Municipality of Anchorage Food Worker Card.
  • Previous serving or bartending experience is required.

  • Stand for the duration of the shift with minimal breaks.
  • Work in noisy, fast-paced environments with distracting conditions.
  • Lift and carry 30+lbs.
  • Have good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina.
  • Bend, reach, stoop, move quickly, and wipe frequently.
  • Work in close proximity to coworkers in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to manage time and accomplish tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Basic knowledge of alcoholic beverage terminology.
