The Eye Tooth is hiring dedicated individuals to join our Janitorial team!

Our Janitorial team is dedicated to maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.

You'll be responsible for ensuring all areas—dining rooms, kitchens, restrooms, and outdoor spaces—are spotless and sanitized.

Collaborate with your teammates to uphold our hygiene standards and perform routine cleaning tasks, along with special projects as needed.

Must be available to work shifts from 2 am to 11 am.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Adhere to sanitation, safety, security, hygiene, and policy procedures.
  • Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming.
  • Remove waste and empty trash.
  • Clean windows, mirrors, walls, ledges, benches, handrails, etc.
  • Clean and supply restrooms.
  • Safely handle and use chemicals and cleaning materials.
  • Thoroughly clean after special events and maintenance projects (i. e., concerts, banquets, meetings, remodels, and renovations).

  • Promptly report the need for repairs of building operating systems, electrical hazards, and equipment quality issues to a manager.
  • Work as a team with your fellow co‑workers and treat each other with kindness and respect.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older. Previous janitorial experience is preferred but not required.

  • Stand and walk for the duration of the shift with minimal breaks.
  • Lift and carry 30+ lbs.
  • Work in fluctuating temperature environments.
  • Have good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina.
  • Push and pull heavy objects.
  • Bend, climb, reach, stoop, move quickly, and stop and wipe frequently.
  • Self‑motivation and the ability to manage time and accomplish tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Punctuality and the ability to take direction and work well with multiple personality types.
