Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and commercially aware Practice Manager to lead our Stratford clinic. This is a full-time, on-site leadership role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the practice, ensuring smooth workflows, regulatory compliance and exceptional patient care standards. You will take ownership of team performance, operational efficiency and commercial growth, working closely with clinicians and senior leadership to continuously enhance the patient journey and overall clinic performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily clinic operations to ensure efficiency and excellence
- Lead, supervise and develop the practice team
- Manage rotas, staffing levels and team productivity
- Drive revenue growth, treatment conversion and KPI performance
- Monitor and report on financial and operational performance metrics
- Maintain compliance with CQC, GDC and healthcare regulations
- Coordinate scheduling and optimise appointment book management
- Implement effective operational strategies and continuous improvements
- Foster a positive, accountable and high-performing culture
- Ensure an exceptional patient experience at every touchpoint
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven leadership and management experience (dental or healthcare strongly preferred)
- Strong operational oversight and organisational skills
- Commercial awareness with the ability to drive KPIs and performance
- Proficiency in administrative systems, scheduling and record management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Sound knowledge of healthcare compliance standards
- Strong problem-solving ability and process improvement mindset
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, Business Administration or related field (advantageous but not essential)
