Toorak is seeking a skilled and reliable Operative to join our on-site team in Cheltenham. This role is hands-on and varied, offering the chance to play a vital part in delivering high-quality work for our clients. You will be responsible for supporting daily project tasks, ensuring safety, and contributing to the smooth and timely completion of operations.
Carry out a range of physical, hands-on tasks such as equipment handling and material installation in line with project specifications. Follow all health & safety protocols, including correct use of PPE. Report unsafe conditions immediately. Shrink wrapping a range of assets. Work effectively with colleagues to complete tasks on time and maintain efficient project progress. Assist with handling, storage, and movement of materials while minimising waste. Identify issues and work with supervisors to resolve them quickly and effectively. Ensure work meets required quality standards, reporting any defects.
Skills & Experience
- Additional certifications such as OSHA, CSCS, CITB are beneficial but not essential.
- Onsite or industrial experience preferred, good understanding of health & safety.
- Shrink wrapping packaging experience not required – we provide training.
- Basic ability with MS Office (Word, Excel, Email) and online searches.
- Hands-on, technical, or industrial background desirable.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, ability to work well as part of a team.
