Toomey Motor Group are looking to hire an Assistant Sales Manager, Chery Southend. We are looking to recruit an experienced, self‑motivated individual to become part of our automotive Sales Management team.

We are actively now seeking for candidates for a full‑time role as an Assistant Sales Manager – with a minimum of 2 year previous experience in role – who are looking to extend their skills into a long lasting and rewarding career.

Assistant Sales Manager role involves:
- Sales of vehicles, which are accompanied by substantial financial rewards
- Sales of service plans
- Maintenance and update of a diary system
- Coordination with the Service Department to fulfil customer requirements
- Managing a team of Sales Executives
- Periodic hosting of off‑site events
For the purposes of our company insurance, full licences must have been held for at least one year. Unfortunately, we cannot consider candidates who hold only a provisional licence.
Hours:
Candidates must be fully able and willing to work the following shifts.
- 5 day weeks
- Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 18:00 pm
- Saturday 8:30 am to 17:30 pm
- Sundays/bank holidays 10:00 am to 16:00 pm
Compensation
OTE of £60,000.00 per year – Basic £25,000.00 plus commission.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of prior experience in a similar assistant sales role
- Valid full driver’s licence held for at least one year
- Full‑time commitment to the stated shifts
