Business Development Consultant (Vehicle Contract Hire & Leasing) – driving new B2B sales in vehicle leasing and fleet management within a private company. This full‑time permanent role (Monday‑Friday, 9am‑5pm) offers a competitive salary, 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, and comprehensive benefits.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: Up to £35k base + uncapped commission.

- Realistic OTE: £40‑45k in year 1, £50k+ in year 2.

Responsibilities
- Actively seek new business opportunities through sales, cold calling, networking, and other channels.
- Prospect and cold‑call prospects via phone, face‑to‑face, email, and other channels to create appointments and close deals.
- Visit prospects to promote vehicle contract hire solutions.
- Prepare and present sales proposals and quotations to prospects.
- Maintain a full record of activity in the CRM system.
- Work closely with Administration and Marketing teams to understand business operations and sales processes.
- Perform any other duties reasonably assigned by management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven sales and business‑development experience (B2B highly preferred).
- Automotive or vehicle leasing experience a plus.
- Excellent presentation and verbal/ written communication skills.
- Strong telephone/ face‑to‑face engagement ability.
- Time‑management and organisational skills.
- Track record of delivering results, tenacity, and competitiveness.
- Capacity to build long‑term business relationships.
- Business acumen and understanding of sales processes.
- Professional appearance and presentation.
